My name is Éva Chovanecz-Molnár

Recently I have been organising literary events in my home town, Vác, Hungary. With a writer-journalist friend of mine we invite the hottest writers of Hungary to have a chat about life, literature and any other topics we are commonly interested in. I also translate contemporary literature written in English and teach English as a Foreign Language. I used to work at primary, secondary and language schools, too even during my university years.
Through this blog I would like to make my readers acquainted with contemporary English-language literature and the crucial and/or interesting processes of literary translation.
After secondary school I spent almost a year in the UK, then I graduated at the University of Veszprém (now University of Pannonia) in 2003, I hold an MA in English and I am an EFL Teacher as well.
Since 2005 I am a full-time mum but Literature and the English (and Italian) language are all my endless love.
Reading provides a kind of emergency entrance at the end of a tiresome day. Or it is rather an elopement. :)
